Thanks to everyone who made the TryLax Clinic a success! Huge thank you to the PSD Stars and Northern Power Lacrosse for helping make this possible! Keep tuned for more upcoming events!
Think of women's/girls' lacrosse as a combination of hockey (with less contact), basketball and soccer. There are positions for all styles of athletes, some that run much more than others. There are goalies, attack players, defenders and midfielders!
Women's and girls lacrosse has seen an explosion throughout the country. NCAA teams have increased 50% since 2020!! That means more scholarship opportunities for young women in the future!
Lacrosse is definitely not a one girl sport! It takes and entire team to be successful. Lacrosse is an amazing community and it starts with the bonds developed on the field.
Even if a girl excels as one sport over another, studies have shown that playing other sports help decrease emotional burnout and injuries. It also has been shown to improve muscle, motor and skill development. Don't pigeonhole her into one sport at a young age!!
We had an amazing time playing some lacrosse with the PSD Stars team and coaches 💙💛
The PSD Stars Women’s Lacrosse Team and The Northern Colorado Women’s Lacrosse Foundation teamed up for a night of FREE lacrosse drills and games in which players K-8th could come out to play with the high schoolers, and new players
